The San Diego Central Jail (SDCJ) is where most defendants are taken if arrested in the San Diego County.  There are over 70,000 bookings recorded by the SDCJ.  The jail facility is staffed by over 400 employees that are committed to serving the jail facility.  The SDCJ was opened in the May 1998 and is backed by state-of-the-art security products.  The facility is 11 floors high with 17 levels counting the underground basement.
